Privacy
Draft. This page describes how Statehouse Signal handles information today. It has not yet been reviewed as a formal privacy policy.
This website
statehousesignal.com runs no analytics or advertising scripts, and our pages set no cookies. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes standard request information (such as IP addresses) to deliver and protect the site.
Booking a demo
When you book a demo, we collect the name, email address, organization, state and note you enter. They're used only to schedule and follow up on the demo, and are stored as an event in our Google Calendar (Google Workspace), which sends you the invitation. The booking form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to check that you're not a bot; Turnstile processes information about your browser for that purpose. We don't add you to a mailing list. To have your booking details deleted, contact us.
The application
When your organization uses Statehouse Signal, we store the information your team enters: tracked bills and your positions, notes, records of meetings and calls, people you work with, decisions and campaign totals. We also store each user's email address and role so they can sign in.
- Your records are visible only to people in your organization. For details about organization-specific encryption and legacy records, see Security.
- We do not sell or share your information, and we do not use it for advertising.
- Campaign metrics are recorded as aggregate totals, rather than supporter contact lists. People records and notes may contain personal information your team enters.
- Anything you publish to your public feed is public by design; everything else stays private.
